It might not be this summer’s "Jurassic Park," but it does a fair job generating action adventure and suspense in a movie that oozes Steven Spielberg’s style.
"The Surfer" is a torturous, modern-day parable about a man selling his soul to the devil. Its audience may be limited to only the most die-hard Nicolas Cage fans.
